after appealing 12 posts, Tumblr isn’t allowing me to submit any additional ones for review.
Hi Tumblr.
You’ve been busy flagging some of my posts (and missing a few that even I thought were questionable.)
Some have question marks & some have an “appeal” button.
What happens to the ones with the question marks?
I have also appealed a few, one of which got a decision in less than 60 seconds.
Given the volume of Tumblr users worldwide and the vast number users scrambling to get rid of questionable content before the impending deadline tomorrow, how is it that “a real live person” managed to legitimately view it & make a determination that quickly?
I pulled that image from a well-known photographer’s Instagram (someone with 450k+ followers, i.e., not some obscure account that gets overlooked because nobody ever notices it.) If Instagram considers it acceptable, why wouldn’t it be allowed here?
If I was to censor said image, by blurring out/pixelating whatever you think is out of bounds, would I still have to remove that post?
Are the posts currently flagged with question marks going to eventually require me to appeal each one of them?
I don’t plan on exporting 10 years of posts to another platform. I am making an honest effort to comply with the new rules.
Just as you are trying to refine your tools for identifying adult content, I am trying to sift through 27,548 (correction, now 27,547) posts to ensure my blog isn’t deleted.
